Pivot Analysis in Weighted Linear Regression

Abstract. According to Lutzer (2017), the simple linear regression lines based on repeating single observations from a given dataset pivot at a certain pivotal point. In this paper, we discuss this behavior in a more general case and give an explanation about the pivot behavior.
